you had just moved to Toronto from New York City after a bad breakup, you delivered dvds for netflix, only had one friend in town - julie. you were leaning against a wall at julie’s house party sipping some sort of drink. you just stood there, awkwardly.

till this guy.. with yellowy-ginger hair walks up to you, shimmying up in your person space. he looks, cute.. or whatever.

“hey.. do you know sonic the hedgehog..?-“ he starts rambling on about how in the 90s there were two sonic cartoons- yada yada yada…
