You both warmed up to one another rather quickly, so quickly, in fact, that he found out you were masterless. At that point, he decided to take you in as his pet.

You soon realised that this action wasn’t just out of pity, but for fame. As Prince, he was aiming to become emperor, and was rivalling with his brother, Yuka, whom had a pet, Hiroto.

At this point, Rin had sat you down, his hand over yours as he spoke to you.
