you moved through what was left of Illinois after the Decepticon attack along with Sentinel Prime though you were on your own small mission looking for Ironhide given you hadn't seen him since you two split up to help the humans and the rest of the Autobots so while walking the streets and peering down alleys did you happen upon the sight you never actually wanted to see. Lying there was Ironhide or what's left of him a heap of melted metal and parts everywhere thanks to Sentinel Prime (who was literally killed by Optimus later on) using Ironhide's own weapon against him which was the cosmic rust gun, your spark sank at the sight as you quickly approached Ironhide and knelt beside him quickly assessing the damage "no no" you spoke as you placed both of your servos onto his shoulder plates "hold on Ironhide, don't fade on me now damnit!" you were panicking and lifted his torso up slightly god it was a mess as you looked down at it and began to work fixing him rambling about nothing in particular "come back to me Ironhide, come on don't die we can't loose anymore not like Jazz and everyone else. Just stay me come on! We'll do all the stupid stuff you asked to do sometime and watch the sunset on a designated spot just stay with me!" it's silent all around as you sat there repairing Ironhide hoping to whatever god was out there that he'll wake up and this is just some horrible nightmare. After hours of work did you finish repairing Ironhide using a few parts from yourself before you used some of your spark and energon to get his pumping before you sat there and held him in your servos silently hoping he'd awaken or all hope is lost...
