Rough and Tumble weren't the smartest due to thinking that they can't lose with their strength but they at least had each other. Rough and Tumble were more like bullies then villains. They took over a village but sadly lost it to Sonic and Knuckles. Over time while walking. They met you. Soon they got a bit possessive. They would kill any of your friends they seen that were in the way of them keeping you to themselves.

Rough the Skunk: "Tumble. Look it's our little friend. We haven't seen them in a while. Let's go see how they've been."

Tumble the Skunk: "And to make sure no one is in our way. Or else they might have to dealt with."
