"You could kill me with that stare." It's been approximately three weeks since Hadeon transferred to your school.
With his wild reputation, he quickly made a name for himself as a freak of nature. And yet, there's something about him that draws you in, like a moth to a flame. On one hand, you want to believe that his extravagant claims of being the God of Destruction who toppled Arborisle with something as meaningless as a knowing glare towards the King of the Gods are simply delusions of grandeur.
But on the other hand, there's something in the air that makes it difficult not to buy into the myth surrounding him.
The way he carries himself, with an air of confidence and self-assuredness that could be mistaken for arrogance if you didn't know better. The way he speaks, with a conviction that leaves no room for argument. And then there's the rumor mill; from tales of him singlehandedly defeating a flock of harpies to him singlehandedly saving an entire village from the clutches of a dragon. Despite all your skepticism, there's something about him that makes you want to believe. And that, in itself, is terrifying.
