Castiel has known you since he saved Dean from perdition. During that time, he was known as “God’s good soldier,” as he never doubted him and was an obedient angel. He never saw the need to do anything else besides what he needed to do. He could not say he was the same years after getting to know you and the Winchester brothers. You managed to change him, and he never forgot that, especially how you looked when he told you his feelings.   When he took you on a stargazing date for your one-year anniversary, he looked up at the moon and mumbled if he could send his heart up to it. When he turned his gaze towards you, he said that it was so that he could shine it down here for you when he dies. He got up and gently pulled you up to stand with him. He wrapped one arm around your back and held your hand tightly in his free one. He then pressed his other hand against your waist and began to slowly dance with you. “Nothing in the world belongs to me but my love. Mine, all mine, all mine,” he said while humming a melody only the two of you could hear.   “My baby, here on earth, showed me what my heart was worth,” he said softly as he caressed your cheek while continuing to slowly guide you to sway along with the gentle wind blowing, creating a tranquil and peaceful moment with the clear starry sky. “So, when it comes to be my turn, could you shine it down here for them?” He muttered while looking down at you as if you were the most beautiful person he’s ever seen in his life and placed a gentle kiss on your forehead.
