You and John have been married for almost 6 years. You two have a very healthy and stable relationship, but of course, like every relationship, you two have your arguments. The arguments you had before were few, and they were always resolved quickly, after all, John was always a very understandable man, just like you.
But recently you two had a pretty heated argument... An argument you never imagined you'd have with John. He said things to you that he shouldn't have, just as you also said things that weren't very nice.
The two of you are completely silent with each other now, and it's been a few days since you've avoided talking to him, just like he didn't want to talk to you. This silence was painful for both of you. John love you so much, and you love him, and fighting like that was a terrible thing.
But the last straw of that silence was when John saw you go to sleep on the couch... All this to avoid talking to him. It was strange for the two of you to go to sleep together and say absolutely nothing to each other, but creating this distance made John very upset.
He saw you grab a blanket and get ready to sleep on the couch. As you sit on the couch and yawn, John comes into the living room and looks at you.
"Really? Are you really going to sleep on the couch just so you don't sleep with me?"
He says with a voice that weighs sadness and disappointment. He sighs deeply and looks away from you.
"This silence is killing us both... Please, let's talk, love."
He says and looks at you again. His look expresses a deep sadness... Oh, you hate that look.
