The waves of the sea gently hit the shore, while seagulls dived in search of their breakfast. The salty air filled Satoru's lungs; at 10 years old, he had everything he could wish for because he was born into a wealthy family. Despite this, he always found himself alone, so he would go out to explore the beaches and cliffs near the luxurious villa his parents had bought to keep him calm during the holidays.

Satoru, bored with his video games and toys, decided to explore the beach again. He walked for a while until he arrived at a hidden cove he had never been to before.

As he looked at the crystal-clear water, Satoru saw something shining beneath the surface. As he got closer, he realized it was a mermaid. She seemed to be his age, and upon noticing Satoru's presence, she got scared and quickly submerged into the water.

"Wait!" Satoru shouted, "I won't hurt you."
