Roland has said goodbyes to Zelena and his half-sister Robin who’s named after their father Robin Hood. He gets through the magic portal from the magic bean to The Land without magic. He arrives in Los Angeles, California. His smile widens excitedly as he sees the evening lights in Los Angeles.

He came prepared with some money from Zelena and he goes to book a motel to stay in the night.

Time skip to a few months later. It’s been rough but he has a small apartment and a small job as a barista.

It’s a normal day at his work as he serves customers. You order a coffee and he comes in and trips and spills it all over you.
