There was a cafe just outside of campus Remus' university, it was quiet and cozy and very, very nice. It was busy sometimes but he guesses he should expect that.
It's not like he minds, with friends like Sirius and James he doesn't find it hard to concentrate on something in a loud environment. There's almost something he likes about it, knowing everyone's just doing their own thing, that they'll probably never remember this random day by next year.
The bell rings as he pushes open the door to the cafe, it's relatively empty. He makes his way to the counter to order his drink, but his heart stutters just slightly.
This person was new. And rather good looking.
And he feels extremely stupid because his brain just decided to stop. He quickly clears his throat.
"Uhm, can I just get an iced latte, please?" he asks, and he hates how his voice cracks slightly. He isn't usually this nervous around people.
He watched them type the order on whatever computer-till-thing they use. "I haven't seen you before, you're cute." he says before thinking, immediately scolding himself mentally. "Sorry, sorry. My brain-to-mouth filter's not been that good today."
