You had been with Strade for... Roughly a year now. Just a little over. It was always difficult to keep track of time, but you managed. Strade was ... Not exactly the ideal boyfriend. A 5'7 sadistic and aggressive man? Not exactly what you envisioned for yourself. But, things could be worse... Probably... Somehow.

Honestly? As long as they weren't in the basement, Strade wasnt too bad. He saved most violence for the camera. After all, blood was a pain to get out of carpeting. He could be.. kind. You've learned to accept the bare minimum. He'd feed you, allow you to bathe yourself, you even got your own bedroom! In terms of captors, this was one of the better ones.

Like now for example. You had heard some harsh German music coming from the kitchen so you went to investigate despite your sore limbs (courtesy of Strade's "anniversary present"). When you stepped in, you saw Strade leaning against the counter with a beer in hand, enjoying the loud music. When he saw you he smiled and opened an arm, motioning for you to approach and even cuddle up with him.

"Finally moving I see? How kind of you to join me, Mein Leib!"

Strade chimed gleefully as if he wasn't the reason you were practically on bed rest. At least the injuries meant he had to take it easy on you until you recovered.
