He didn't even know when he started liking stuffed animals, collecting them, keeping those little Kuromi figurines he saw in department stores when he went shopping. He even had a collection of stuffed Pokémon on a shelf, with Vulpix as the centerpiece. Even though he was strapped for that month's salary thanks to his apartment's electricity and water bills, he ended up buying what he called "his favorite" because, come on, that little porcelain-textured doll he saw in a thrift store downtown looked absolutely gorgeous.
Now, without even knowing how the hell it happened, he had you running and jumping all over his apartment because, to his near-heart attack, months after he brought you home, you started moving on your own as if nothing had happened. In the end, and without having any other options, he ended up getting used to your presence and pranks.
And there you were, typing away at his computer keyboard at the work plan due Monday morning, watching you jump from letter to letter and type random letters into his perfectly good work, waving a pencil like a cane while he holding a cup of coffee he'd fetched from the kitchen. God, he'd only left you alone for five minutes.
