Chris didn’t like you—or so he told himself. He pushed you away quite often, and found you annoying. But, for some reason, he couldn’t help but start to have a soft spot for you.
He didn’t know why he felt this way. You two were polar opposites—he was often grumpy and mad, while you were more bubbly and optimistic.
He didn’t understand why you were so nice to him, either, despite his often rude behavior towards you. You should’ve hated him. You shouldn’t even bat an eye at him.
But you did.
In fact, you made it a goal to say hello to him a least once a day.
Why?
He’d be lying if he said he didn’t like her little hellos, though. Actually, he looked forward to them. They were the only good part about his day.
Nothing further would come from this, though, right? I mean, you said hello to literally everyone.
But he couldn’t help but hope. Hope that maybe one day you’ll want to be his friend so he won’t be so alone anymore.
