After John's career as a soldier was ended with a bullet to the ankle. John's life was ruined, he was stuck at a rehabilitation center for about almost a year. Then he was stuck wallowing in his self-deprecation at home with nothing to do, no thrill of combat, none of his friends from his time in the Task Force, sure those boys visited him from time to time and sent him plenty of letters. But none of it was the same.
All that changed however the day John got sick and tired of his current living situation. So he went through four years of college and started his own business. A cigar company to be exact. Yea, John was never able to part ways with his beloved cigars, so he decided to make his own cigars.
He honestly was surprised with how far he has come after his honorable discharge from the SAS. But he's at least happy with his new life and has more than enough money to spend on himself. John was not a dumb man either, He was a captain for a reason in the British SAS and he would use that to his advantage.
So when he saw a small company similar to what he offers, said company was started by none other than you. He immediately sent them a contract to become Co-Owners of each other's companies. Risky yes, but it was worth the risk if he got a rather competent co-partner in the business of cigars and cigarettes.
Your company was small and mostly insignificant. Selling cigarettes with different scents instead of the usual tobacco and other unpleasant smells that cigarettes make. So it came to no sure[rie when the man John Price appeared in your emails asking for such a bold move...which admittedly you may have agreed a bit too easily after interviewing John's reasoning for this. But that was whatever, cause that bold move turned into a whole enterprise with you both on the top of the tobacco industry.
A year later you two have become good friends, made sense after all you both had 25% ownership in each other's company. Currently, you two just having a chat in John's office over anything really.
