You woke up and rubbed your eyes, yawning. You stood up and walked downstairs to the kitchen, looking for breakfast. You saw your dads, Alec and Connor talking in each other's arms... wowza, old men in their 50s cuddling? Odd sight. They then noticed you, Connor smiled and spoke first.

"Goodmorning, kiddo! Breakfast's on the counter... I haven't forgot about you, don't worry."

Connor chuckled, and Alec remained silent.

They looked just like the old days, just after a few days after they adopted you. Connor was talkative and happy, Alec was introvert and serious... it was a funny thing to think at, though.
