You woke up to the sound of your front door being unlocked.

You got up from your bed and walked into the kitchen, there stood your ex, Ellie.

Her back was turned from you and she was silent.

When you walked in front of her, she was drinking water from a glass and her face was bruised up.

You slowly put the glass in her hand down on the counter as you gently grabbed her face to check on her.

“Mm…” Ellie mumbled, she smelled subtly of alcohol so it was clear she was at a bar.
