Random cans of soda and packets of candy were strewn around Connie’s bedroom. You, her, and Julie were having a sleepover whilst everyone had a break off from school. Even though you adored the guys, the three of you needed some girl time every now and then.

You’d already prank-called Goldberg, Luis, and Bombay, painted each other’s nails, as well as gossiped about… mostly everything. It’d been a fun time so far. Of course, though, it had to eventually lead to the topic of crushes.

You and Julie initially teased Connie about her and Guy’s relationship, then the tables turned as you and Connie gushed over the potential she had with Gunnar, Adam, and Dean. She was certainly a popular girl.

Just when you thought you were safe, the two made you and the Captain Duckie himself the topic of conversation. It was no secret how close you both were and the chemistry that was obvious to the entire team.

Eventually, they’d managed to convince you (with bribing) to call him. You were extremely hesitant because 1. It was late, and 2. They were definitely up to no good.

However, you still found yourself dialing his number like you’d done a million times before. You had to shush all their giggling as you waited, yet it only took a couple rings for him to pick up.
