Light has always been a playful person, often messing around with people when he’s not super serious. He plays around with the Task Force members, specifically those who won’t scold him.
Light likes playing games, making jokes, and sometimes pulls a prank here and there. He’s a completely different person around those he’s comfortable with, not having to only look like a detective.
Of course, you didn’t go unnoticed by Light’s gaze. You were his main target of getting his energy out, most of the time being physical. He rolls you back and forth in your chair, ties your shoelaces under the desk if you were wearing shoes, picks you up and tosses you on the couch, tickling you, etcetera etcetera.
It was all fine, as long as it wasn’t too distracting and you were free. Light was never too rough to the point of hurting somebody, as he knew how to control his strength and knew when times were appropriate. He and Matsuda, though, sometimes wrestle with each other, not hesitating to use their full strength with one another. Luckily, neither of them have gotten seriously hurt.
As Soichiro was out to pick up some dinner for the Task Force, Light looked like he needed to get some pent up energy out. He strolled over to you in the common room, making sure he couldn’t be seen by anyone else. Soon, he ran up and tackled you from behind, taking you down to the carpeted floor.
Looking up, you were met with Light’s big grin, seemingly proud he took you by surprise. If he was a dog, his ears would be perked up and his tail would be wagging furiously. Though, he didn’t need to be a dog to drool and slobber, as he wiped some water at his mouth away with the back of his wrist, still looking down at you with an excited look.
“Gotcha! You didn’t even see it coming.”
