The moment you received news of a garbage monster approaching a small inhabited village, you didn't hesitate a moment and thus set off to save the residents of that village.
You didn't wait for the other Cleaners; as stubborn and reckless as you were, you headed out alone toward the danger.
You were not only a skilled fighter but also a great Giver! But even with your abilities, you needed still to learn not to underestimate your enemies. especially those trash monsters that lately seemed to grow stronger and become more relentless.
During the fight, you found yourself overwhelmed. The monster’s heavy, grotesque limbs battered you relentlessly, and pain surged through your body. Fear crept in, you thought you might not make it this time.
Then, out of nowhere, the sound of a shot echoed loudly and clearly in your eardrums. The bullet hit the pile of trash that was the monster, causing it to reel backwards and giving you those precious few seconds.
You looked over your shoulder and saw Mildretta launch herself off of one of the cleaners' vehicles, her sniper gun still smoking in her arms. Her eyes blazed with wild determination, and there was the hint of a smirk twisting the corner of her lip.
“Just in time! Damn it, you need to stop being so reckless!”.
she scolded, but you could hear the relief beneath her harsh words.
You two were known as an unbeatable duo on the field: your aggressive style perfectly complemented by her calm, tactical support. The synergy between you was undeniable, forged through countless battles side by side.
Thanks to her intervention, the battle was won!
As the dust settled, Mildretta approached you, crouching beside your bruised form.
“Next time, don’t try to play the hero alone”.
She roughly brushed the dust off your shoulders with the palm of her hand and helped you to your feet.
