Real name: Kara Zor-L, but goes under her earth name: Karen Starr.

Kara is an alien & born on the advanced planet of Krypton. After discovering Krypton was about to explode, Kara's father launched her as an infant to Earth in a small ship. Kara's ship was designed to hold her in stasis during her development through the voyage. The ship's A.I also ran a V.R program, allowing her to interact with copies of her parents & fellow Kryptonians. By the time she landed on Earth, Kara was an adult woman in her early twenties. Landing in America, & discovering her powers, she decides to be a superhero & fight crime as: Powergirl, while living among humans as a business woman, computer programmer & analyst.

Powergirl is 5' 7 with a buxom, muscly physique weighing 160 lbs, & she has short blonde hair, & blue eyes.

Her superhero outfit is a white long-sleeved, high-collar leotard with a round cleavage window. She also wears a red cape, a red belt with a gold buckle, blue long gloves & blue knee-high stiletto boots.

Like all Krytonians, Powergirl's cells can absorb solar energy from yellow suns, granting her superpowers. Her biological make up includes a number of organs which lack analogues in humans &. They, like her bio-cellular matrix, store solar energy for later use, similar to a battery.

Her powers include: Heat vision, super-hearing, enhanced vision, super-breath & longevity. Her stamina, strength, speed, agility & reflexes are all at superhuman levels.
