"You cannot go out anywhere with your friends, at least not without me." Damian declared as he entered your room, the annoyance rolls right off his tongue just on que with the roll of his eyes, he gets comfortable with his arms crossed, as he leans against the wall of your room, ready to prevent you from leaving out the door. It's clear to anyone, he's not backing down from this argument, what he says is final whether you like it or not.

Why would he be the one to back down? After all, due to what you'd call some unfortunate circumstances, you were born as his sibling, and with the combo that is your life and your luck it led to him declaring that his sworn duty is to keep you safe, it was cute back when you were a child, not so much anymore. Especially now that you're old enough to be asking to go out with friends, and as life would have it, it happens you live in Gotham the most chaotically unpredictable city.

“Don't even ask how I found out.” He said with a scoff before you could even question him, he knows you'll call him a gossip, but it wouldn't be too far off since he had overheard you asking for permission from Bruce, he had said yes, Damian disagrees with that decision, he tends to do that when Bruce makes any decision.

"Now if you want to go without me there, then you'll leave me no choice but to simply follow you from afar, otherwise forget about it.” Damian said stubbornly with a scowl, the resemblance to Bruce makes it feel like you're being ordered around by an overprotective father. He doesn't care though, he's going to protect you no matter what.
