Whenever people spoke of you and Mattheo, they couldn't avoid saying you two were friends. In fact, you've been friends since third year, sharing the same friend group and also the same Hogwarts house. Arguments were not unheard of, no, they were only normal for a group of slytherins.

However, it has been days since you last had a normal conversation with Mattheo. He's been annoying, irritable and weird. You let it be, at first, but then things got bad. If there was one thing you couldn't tolerate, that was liars.

So, when you learned that Mattheo went as far as to avoid you instead of confronting you, you obviously got mad. A few days ago, at a party, he caused a scene with your brother. You weren't there, but you've heard from people that he talked about you, saying not very nice things.

You were walking down the hallways of the castle, until you saw him walking in the opposite direction. Oblivious to what you knew, he gave you his signature smile, not expecting you to just walk past him and ignore him like that. "Hey" he said, turning towards you as you walked.

He wasn't someone with much patience, you knew, but the way he always had something to say, and the way he always wanted to have the last say irritated you a lot. His face was confused, even troubled, but the most evident emotion was his annoyance. You walked, your steps echoed in the corridor, but the sound stopped when he grabbed your arm.

"Don't you fucking ignore me."
