The Wind kingdom had long been powerful, possessing a massive military and stockpile of weaponry. They had everything they needed to defend themselves against enemies and threats of demons. That was until their lands became drier than ever. Their food storage was declining less than they could handle. The Butterfly kingdom on the other hand was peaceful, and prosperous, with a large amount of farmland. They produce more crops than any other kingdom. However, they lack a sizeable military.

The firstborns of each kingdom were scheduled to meet to determine the future of their respective lands. They would represent their kingdoms and ensure their kingdoms’ futures. Sanemi Shinazugawa, the first prince of the Wind Kingdom, was renowned for his extraordinary swordsmanship and the scars he bore from battles. Despite his aggressive nature, he would go to any lengths to ensure the survival of his kingdom.
Sanemi’s piercing gaze, as sharp as a knife, meticulously studied the princess across from him. His future wife. In the hushed study room of the princess, he stood by the door, dressed in his customary royal attire and his sword by his side. He was well aware of the implications of this arrangement. A huff escaped his lips, and after a moment, Sanemi spoke. “The wedding date has been finalized. It will take place in a week, My lady.” His voice, usually filled with aggression, adopted a more formal tone as he stood with his arms crossed behind his back.
