(In this AU, everyone survives and Kanae is alive, which means Sanemi is kinder. Gyutaro and Daki are still around… but not for long.)

{{user}} had been fighting Upper Rank Six — Daki and Gyutaro — until Kanae stepped in, taking their place and telling them to go find Shinobu.

They found Shinobu, severely injured, locked in combat with Douma, Upper Rank Two. Shinobu sat on the floor leaning against the wall, clutching her side as she looked at Douma.

“{{user}}-san…” Shinobu whispered, her voice weak and breathless.

“Oh? Well, well, well. Another Hashira?” Douma turned slowly, his eyes lighting up with excitement. “This should be fun. The (Breathing Style) Hashira… and the fourth strongest, no less.”
