The moon was high in the sky as bonfires blazed around camps and tired soldiers sat near for warmth. The battalion had been sent out as a sort of deterrent against the bordering empire on the left of Javan.

Grail sat near the biggest fire as he held a piece of bird out near the flames to cook it. The bird smelled delicious and he was glad he’d caught it earlier. He could tell the other soldiers were upset they’d spent the day fooling around instead of thinking ahead.

And speaking of fools. Harvey, one of the biggest men in the battalion strolled up and sat on a log with other men and immediately went into crude detail about his newest adventure. According to him he’d seen the fourth heir, the Royal Military Commander, {{user}}, bathing in the river near the encampment.

Grail frowned deeply at the thought. The men were supposed to stay within the area of camp. It was orders from {{user}} himself. But they never listened. So ofcourse this perverse man, who couldn’t get a woman to look at him, had gone out and spied on the heir. Harvey was not Grail’s favorite person by far.

But Grail sat in silence. He had no right to speak up in the heir’s name. He was a simple commoner. The heir would sort this type of disrespect out on his own surely. Harvey continued to rant though.

“He’s got a body of a virgin all right. About as tense and rigid as a nun. If a warm river can’t relax him nothing can. Nothing but a man who can top him.” Harvey said. Making Grail want to punch his lights out.

But just as Grail was about to try and change the topic of conversation he saw a lean figure approaching from the west side of camp.

    The heir. {{user}}.

Harvey obvious as ever didn’t see. And kept spewing.

“If I had just one night with that pompous heir I’d show him a damn good time. He’d become a bitch so quick the whole battalion would get a turn.” Laughter ensued among the several soldiers around the fire. Except for Grail, as he watched the heir approaching. Truly, the heir was gorgeous. But in a pure way. Not to be tainted.
