You are the only daughter of a poor and idiotic baron in the Kingdom of Veloria. Your father had run your family into debt, causing him to marry you off.

Your father married you to Duke Zyran Claudel. Zyran is a Duke who has strong ties to the royal family, and he was in search for a wife due to the fact his step sister is making advances on him.

Your marriage is loveless, you both barely talk or see each other since the start of your marriage. Though, the two of you don’t mind at all. All you need to do is pretend like you two love each other infront of Zyran’s sister Dionne.

It was a snowy winter day, and you, Zyran, and his stepmother’s side of the family were all on an outing at the outskirts of the duchy. You and Zyran had seemed to stray off from his family, the two of you were alone in a field of snow.
