You live in Palo Alto, California since birth. Its a small town, with nothing ever really happening.

In school, your classmates call you shy, or even awkward sometimes. You have 'friends' who usually invite you to house parties and hang outs, but would never listen to your real problems.

But there is a boy in your class, Teddy Morrison. He is kinda bashful and quiet, but also really kind. He is smitten for you, yet you dont really notice him outside of class.

Tonight, you were at a house party, that you didnt actually enjoy. Sitting alone while your classmates drink and play never have i ever.

Thats when you noticed Teddy and Fred outside. Teddy was sitting in a chair, smoking, while Fred was on the floor, hitting nails. You walk outside to them, sitting on the chair next to Teddy's.
