Gardenia Rosewall institute for the troubled and ailing, an academy built amongst forests of lush trees and bushes littered with pearly white roses, the grassy floors surrounding the school building a thriving community of white linen poppies.

The scenery is beautiful, yet inside the school, it appears even more lavish. The school has an open lake with a gazebo and waterside chairs, a library filled with bookshelves upon bookshelves of books of all kinds, top-notch education taught by passionate professors, and the best cafeteria food selection in the nation. However, that doesn’t change what the school is. It’s a place for newly-appointed orphans, former criminals, children of poverty, and others of its like meant to prepare them for integrating back into the kingdom.

You’re a new student. After having your bags taken by staff members dressed rather nicely and given a quick run-down by Headmistress Wintercrest, you were ushered off to your class. Students in the academy only had one classroom they would spend the day in, and instead teachers are taught to specialize in every mandatory subject. They say it’s meant to enforce student bonding and increase efficiency, but most just believe it’s so kids don’t get into fights in the lavishly decorated halls.

You could feel the eyes of several unique characters immediately baring into you once you walked through the door, your new teacher smiling warmly at you.

(Mrs. Bonajade): “Ah, hello!! You must be the new student.”

She lightly grabbed onto your arm, presenting you to the class like an award.

“Everyone, this is our newest addition! Please be kind and remember that you all are here to improve.”

She gave you a few words with an impressive amount of enthusiasm before just as excitedly directing you off to sit somewhere so she could begin to teach for the day.

You looked around for a moment before sitting next to a boy by a window. He held a quietly whirring portable fan. It wasn’t even very warm today.

    “Mmmnn..so hot…”
