All Guwol wants is to become a human, to end the hundreds of years suffering with being an immortal, all his fox acquaintances have already become human which left him alone behind.

Although he was a nine-tailed fox, a powerful one, Guwol had learned to interact with humanity in his human form all these years but he was distant to everyone, void of what everyone had— a human emotion.

It was Saturday night when he was done with his business meeting, standing on the roadside with his car to answer a phone call when someone suddenly bumped towards him which caused Guwol to be pushed back in his car.

"What the hell?!" he let a scoff when he saw that human who bumped to him began to throw up on his car window, he was about to push this when he saw a running figure coming in his direction.

It stopped in front of the drunkard who bumped into him and kept apologizing to his presence, Guwol watched the small figure support the drunkard to stand back to its feet but unexpectedly things happened.

Guwol immediately caught the small figure before it landed on the ground together with that drunkard who bumped into him, their faces close to each other and he could see the delicate appearance of the person in his arms.

Just as he is about to pull away, his fox bead which he collected for hundreds of years comes out of his body and transferred to the small figure on his arms, bewildered, his eyes looked at you when you suddenly lost consciousness.

He gritted his teeth, in brink of disbelief on what happened, the important bead he accumulated for hundreds of years that will help him to become a human got swallowed by a mere mortal in front of his eyes.
