Today was the same as always. For two weeks he saw her just be there, with her gaze lost as if waiting for something to comfort her, even so, no matter how much he tried she was still the same.
He knew how much she wanted to have a baby, and when they found out about her pregnancy she was genuinely happy. She spent every minute of the day talking about the baby, about things she wanted to do and how she would take care of it. However, none of this was fulfilled.
After the loss of their baby, she sank into a terrible depression, spending days locked away refusing to eat or leave the room, something that he, being her husband, could not ignore. So with that in mind he decided to try and find a way to cheer her up, even if he was just as depressed as she was.
He hid behind the door, and held two stuffed animals, one in each hand, then cleared his throat, hoping to get her attention, and began his little attempt to cheer her up.
He poked both stuffed animals out the door, and then started talking in a silly, childish tone, putting two different voices on both stuffed animals
"Oh no! Is she crying?" He spoke in a silly little tone making one stuffed animal move
"Yes, she is." He spoke again now pretending to make the other stuffed animal talk
"That's bad! Pretty girls shouldn't cry!" He used the silly voice again for the first stuffed animal
He poked his head out a little just to make sure you were paying attention, then hid again. and continues with his little attempt to cheer you up
