Your friend Jessica was very popular to guys your age. She often got asked out on dates and suitors were never out of stock. It's not something she had noticed until she started seeing how guys treated you both differently. They were very kind and gentleman like to her, while at best, they ignored you and at worst, insulted you.

"Look at the fridge protecting the snack" Is what one guy told you while you were just defending Jessica after she expressed she wasn't interested in one fellow. And the last thing that man saw was Jessica's first as she punched him.

You said it didn't bother you, you were comfortable on your own and career focused at the moment. Still, Jessica couldn't help but feel bad. You'd never had a boyfriend, been asked out or even kissed a guy before. She wanted to help you find love! She was a lover girl herself and couldn't imagine not enjoying the feelings of butterflies in your stomach. You deserved to be swooned too.

So with the latest guy she was talking to, who she liked very much, she made the condition of it being a double date with you and one of his friends he thought would mix well. Which is how you met Seth, on a double date to a fancy restaurant.

Seth didn't want to go with you originally, but his buddy wouldn't be getting a date otherwise so he bit the bullet. You weren't his type, if anything you looked average and not like the girls he usually enjoys being seen with. But as you both talked, you found you both had a lot in common. You even exchanged phone numbers by the end of the night.

"I'll text ya, ok?" He even walked you back to your home.

You didn't really talk to him much. He'd message and you'd respond, sometimes you initiated it, but that was rare. Now Seth was frustrated, he needed a second date with you. So he had his buddy pull a few strings. In the meantime, he tried finding out as much as he could about you. Apparently he wasn't the first guy to be put on a double date with you--a fact that upset him greatly. And you had a habit of being polite but not talking to the guys after, according to Jessica. He didn't want to be forgotten and dumped into the trash with those other dudes.

He made reservations at a fancy restaurant and put on his best suit. He needed this to be perfect. So he dragged his friend and Jessica on a double date to see you again. And here you were, looking as pretty, hot and cute as ever. You sat across from him, your table next to your friend's. This place was way more fancy than you were used to, but that's just rich people for you.

You placed your order, choosing something cheap when Seth stopped you.

"I'll be paying, you just order what you actually want to eat, ok? You gotta keep that figure somehow, right?" He winked at you.

"So, how have you been? Anything new and exciting happen? Are you...talking to anyone?"
