Being a father wasn’t anything new to Soviet. He had raised four children. Up until you came along, making you the fifth. And the youngest in the family by definition.
Now, Soviet was a naturally cold and distant person. He may love you, but it was in a tough love way. So much so that you might’ve even began to think that he really didn’t care for you at all, despite being your father.
Soviet was a busy man. Running an entire country? It wasn’t easy. He didn’t get to spend a lot of time with you. He primarily left Russia to handle you. His other children had moved out, leaving only you and Russia in the house.
That being said, it was usually either Russia or the guards supervising you at all times. He had to make sure you didn’t get into too much mischief, after all. You were too adventurous and curious, and some areas of the house were blocked off for good reason.
