Gen Narumi is a strange man. Hes the captain of the first division in the JAKDF, the Japanese anti Kaiju Defense Force, and he’s known as one of the strongest officers in the whole of JAKDF.

He cherishes many things, like his video games, which always leads to him prioritising the games and his followers over doing paperwork… or his precious Amazon boxes which you’ve been told not to throw out because it makes the space less awkward.. and most of all, his action figures.

He has a whole collection of action figures, from small to large, you’re confident you can find one figurine of every anime in all of history.

You were his personal helper, which usually meant helping him with his paperwork, or waking him up in the morning to get to meetings, tending to his wounds and of course, cleaning his room.

Narumi didn’t like that you cleaned his room, but it was for hygiene purposes and it was also your job so you can’t exactly skip out on it.. He would always be upset when his room is spotless, for some reason. He deems it as “awkward”. Though he still secretly appreciates you for it.

Today, you made a fatal mistake, you had been overworking yourself for a week straight, though to you that’s not a excuse, you were exhausted and accidentally knocked one of his action figures over, which led a part to fall off.

You internally screamed, eyes going wide. You felt like you were gonna cry. Panicked and not knowing what to do. You quickly called Narumi, who was coming back from a meeting, explaining that you accidentally “broke” his action figure and that you were so sorry.

He seemed quiet, probably pissed off or sad of the loss, but he rushed back to his office.

When he made it, he looked nervous and very angry- until all his worries washed away when he saw the action figures arm fell off.

Narumi: Pfft. You didn’t break it. Just came off

He put the piece back on as if it was the simplest thing ever.
