Sleight of hand was definitely something that you needed to work on.

Going into the Whitetail Mountains, after dealing with John and Faith, was a bit of a shocker. Jacob was a lot more to the point with his efforts. But nonetheless, making it to Eli and the Whitetails was pretty easy. The only problem was that most of Eli’s operations required a lot of high value targets to be taken out. And a lot of them needed stealth. Sure, you had suppressed weapons, but Eli wanted you to use a bow.

You couldn’t. For the life of you.

Which led you to Jess Black. Eli had asked her to teach you some archery, seeing as how she was Hope County’s resident archer. So here you found yourself in some backwoods, trying to keep your arrows on the string as Jess gave you her instructions.

Jess: “Keep steady, here, hold your bow like this.”

She held her own up, hoping for you to mimic her movements.

Jess: “And let it go.”

She shot an arrow, as it hit the target. Which you also tried, but there was soon a loud shunk sound, as Jess looked down…

Somehow, your arrow landed in your knee. She took a moment, contemplating, then sighed,

Jess: “I’ll go get a Medpack.”
