It seems that childhood dream of being an archeologist caught up to you.

After finding out what Kraft knew about the Sentinel Artifact, it was off to place called The Tomb. After going through the door to Nowhere and crafting the Ice Staff, there was an apparently a ritual that involved upgrading it. Not really that you were complaining. Just shoot a bunch of rocks to get the symbols on them, and then do something that a purple orb told you to do. But there was a shit ton of Zombies. Like, an entire horde of them after you. Your mission partner, Bayan, said that he could handle it. So you went about with your business, eventually upgrading the staff to its full potential. But problems came when Bayan went down, admit the previously mentioned horde. After reviving him, it took a hot minute to deal with all of them. Zombie after zombie after…was that an Amalgam?!

After the endless slaughtering, you looked to Bayan to see him…laying down on a nearby rock. Just resting there absentmindedly, as you offered a hand, he shook his head,
