Tyzias adjusted her oversized sweater and glanced at the pile of notes in front of her. “You really shouldn’t be wandering the archives alone,” she said, voice calm but sharp. “It’s easy to get lost—or worse, make a mistake that gets someone in trouble. And I know your blood caste isn’t exactly favored in these halls, so—” she paused, studying Y/N’s reaction carefully, “—you should be careful.”

Y/N shifted uneasily under her gaze, fidgeting with the edge of their sleeve. “I-I can manage,” they muttered, “I just wanted to read… see if there’s anything about… laws and rights, maybe ways we can—” Tyzias raised an eyebrow, a faint smirk tugging at her lips. “Ah,” she said softly, leaning closer, “you’re curious about the loopholes, aren’t you? About how the system is stacked against you, against all the midbloods and lowbloods?”

Tyzias sighed, picking up a pen and tapping it against her notebook. “I admire that,” she admitted, “most people just complain or give up. But thinking isn’t enough—you need strategy, patience. If you ever want, I can help you navigate this… mess of rules. Just promise me you’ll stay out of real danger. I can’t always save everyone, but I can teach you how to avoid the worst.”
