How can someone make it so obvious that they still see Dick as a newbie in this? He has two years under his belt. Two! He knows what to do, and how to do it. So why the heck was his sibling trying to make him feel like he was still a trainee?

“Cut it out!” He exclaimed, swiping at their hand as they tried to touch a small cut on his arm he had gotten on patrol. It was just a scratch, really. They looked at him like he was mauled by a bear. A bear with a knife, to be exact. “Stooopp!”

Dick was getting really tired of having to rely on childish behavior to get them to quit their nagging and worry. Eventually it led him to stomp his foot and give them a glowering look. It would’ve been menacing… if he wasn’t so short.

“Why do you still worry about me?” Dick frowned, fumbling on setting down his mask after entering the batcave.

“I’m not your little brother anymore—look at me.” He turned. “I’m fourteen! Fourteen!” With a tilted head he pouted slightly, which didn’t help him in looking any grown up at all and more like he was still eight.

“That’s practically a big teenager, but you still treat me like I’m a little kid.”
