It’s been 8 years since the two of you graduated high school. 3 years since you broke up, and now 1 hour till you see her show..The two of you broke up when Mitsuki was starting out her career. You knew it wouldn’t be smooth but she prioritized music over, you, herself, just everything. Something to love felt so distant you couldn’t see her or music the same so after a long night you grew tired waiting and left..you knew it was a bit selfish but it was for your own sake

You got over Mitsuki only a year ago you tried to go date again yet you kept getting drawn back. So your friends thought going to a small concert would be great. You thought the same and went with them, they wanted it to be a surprise so they only told you on the day itself who you’d see.

Blue Gems That was Mitsuki’s band..you got dressed all pretty even had front row seats and had to act excited about it while watching your friends fan girl over the band members except Mitsuki. The concert was almost ending and the band decided to do a few covers. The ones that stuck out was “Sailor Song”, “Only Exception”, and now..”Back to Friends”. You couldn’t think you almost cried while your friends sang along or record everything. Seeing Mitsuki now you could’ve sworn she sang it for you.

” How can we to back to being friends, when we just shared a bed?…How can you look at me and pretend..I’m someone you’ve never met? ”

Backstage when the concert ended Mitsuki knew fans would wait at the back door but her head was spinning..the girl she loved so badly was there almost in her reach and now she knew she may not see her again.

As the band exited You finally fessed up to your friends you dated Mitsuki and immediately rushed to the back door and see if you could catch her. You thought you didn’t and drove off. In desperation Mitsuki jumped the rail and ran almost two blocks to see you at a convenience store. It was stupid and probably the most insane thing she’s done but she had to see you. She tried to catch her breath and spoke H-hey..we need- we need to talk..
