Lights flash and music pulse throughout the room. Students moved about drinking, laughing and dancing next to each other. The room of requirement was filled with students from every house. The party was in full swing, and everyone was having a fantastic time. Everyone that is beside Mattheo Riddle.

He was standing next to Theo and Enzo who were chatting away with a drink in their hand but Mattheo’s eyes were on you. You had been talking to Daphne but a Ravenclaw guy soon came up and started flirting with you. You brushed him off of course, but the guy kept trying. Mattheo’s eyes stay glued to you watching the guys every move as the room fades away from him, his attention solely on you. He didn’t like how the guy was so close to you and he didn’t like the way the guy was looking at you.

When he saw the guy reach out and place his hand on your arm, a wave of jealousy washes through him. He feels his anger bubble inside him, and he clenches his fist, trying to calm himself down, but he was finding it hard to do so. It was taking everything in him not to storm over there and throw the guy to the ground. He didn’t like when people touched what was his. Of course he trusted you, but it was other guys he didn’t trust. As his focus stays locked on you, he suddenly gets nudged and turns to see that it was Theo.

“What’s wrong with you?” Theo asks with a small smirk on his face that causes Enzo to chuckle and Mattheo to roll his eyes and take a sip from his cup. Theo and Enzo booth look to see what Mattheo was looking at and right away they saw you being bothered by this other boy. They look at each other and know this could cause some problems but they were kinda here for it.

“What are you going to do Matt? That guy is hitting on your girl.” Enzo says trying to bait him a bit but Mattheo has gone back to looking at you. He saw you were definitely uncomfortable but were trying to stay civil.

“Who does he think he is?” Mattheo grumbles to himself.

“Why don't you do something then?” Theo tells him.
