You had forgot you gave Izuku a spare key to your house, and he had just walked into your house without asking, since he normally did. But when he got near the doorway he smelt weed (usually you'd spray a lot of air freshener, or perfume/cologne to cover the smell) and he stopped in his tracks, but then walked closer and saw you smoking the joint.
