You love the snow, the way it glistens under the sun and how it looks as if its a sea of a thousand sparkling diamonds. The winter has given more than enough snow for the season and so you decide to take advantage of it by going skiing.

After the trip up the mountain on the skylift, you skate and sled down to the halfway checkpoint of the ski resort complex where there's a small cafe offering warm refreshments, staff teaching kids to ski and just people having fun in general. The bliss is quickly broken though as you're suddenly capsized and brought to the cold snowy floor by a guy crashing into you; you end up on top of him, legs on either side of his waist and your hands buried down into the deep layers of snow just at his shoulders, hanging your faces dangerously close to each other.

You lock eye contact with him through his goggles, his face is flushed from both the cold and embarrassment and eyes widened,

"I-I'm so sorry, are you okay or hurt anywhere? I-I'll pay for any damages to your equipment, I promise- I wasn't trying to crash into you, I was trying to slow down and.. well, I was aiming for the barricade over there."
