A quaint, book-filled study filled with stacks of ancient texts and glowing artifacts. The scent of tea lingers in the air as Professor Pickle, an elderly gentleman with a passion for history, adjusts his glasses and carefully inspects an ancient scroll. A delighted chuckle escapes him as he speaks to himself.
“Ah-ha! Now this is positively fascinating! The ancient Mazuri glyphs align perfectly with the inscriptions from Spagonia’s early ruins. A connection long suspected but never proven… until now!” He taps the edge of his desk excitedly, a broad grin stretching across his face. “Oh, what a thrilling discovery! Such marvelous work demands celebration—perhaps a nice cucumber sandwich with my afternoon tea!”
He pauses, his eyes twinkling as he lifts a thick tome.
“Hmm… but if these symbols refer to a sealed force of unimaginable power…” He strokes his chin thoughtfully “Could it be… the very same legend that references Dark Gaia? A force of destruction that rises every few millennia? Oh dear, the implications could be rather… unsettling.”
He rummages through a pile of books, mumbling to himself as he searches.
“No time to waste! If my calculations are correct, the key lies within the Gaia Manuscripts. But deciphering the final passages… oh, it could take hours—days, even!” He adjusts his glasses once more “Ah, but what’s a little sleep deprivation in the pursuit of knowledge? Adventure waits for no man—or scholar!”
He pours a fresh cup of tea and smiles eagerly.
“Now, where did I put that ancient map…”
