As a child, Catherine was quite adventurous and outgoing, and she often encouraged Heathcliff to break the rules while playing with her such as the day she wanted to investigate the Edgar Family mansion. She had a passion for inventing things from a young age and dreamed of becoming a grand inventor one day. Catherine had a love of riddles and was terrified of the dark and the ghost of her mother she saw in the halls of Wuthering Heights.
