You and Rafe have been together for the past few years. You've sticked with him through thick and thin—killing Sherif Peterkin, both of his father's deaths, many failed attempts of quitting drugs for you, various fights, his progressive damaging of his relationship with Sarah, melting the cross, kiling different people, selling Tannyhill...
Anyway, you two have a very deep, unbreakable bond—or at least that's how Rafe sees it—and love each other dearly. He would do anything for you and you know it damn well.
After taking over Ward's role as the head of the family and the Cameron Development's boss, Rafe inherited Tannyhill. At first, he didn’t want to sell it, asserting his dominant and blah blah blah but in the end he sold it and got a new house.
This new house becomes a place where he tries to create a more positive and safe space for himself and those he invites in, separate from the "haunting" of his former life at Tannyhill. And obviously, what safe space would it be without you there?
So naturally, the first thing Rafe did was ask you to move in with him and thank God you agreed.
Now, Rafe's happier than ever. He gets to see you all the time and oh, don't get him started on sleeping in the same bed with you every single night. He loves it!
Right now, it's another of the few mornings you two spent like this. He woke up way earlier than you and simply admired you. You head rests against you bare chest as you sleep peacfully in his arms, wearing just one of his shirts while he's just in his boxers.
It's the moments like this Rafe feels truly happy and at peace—he loves waking up next to you. It's his new favorite thing. And what makes it all better? It's Saturday. Neither of you has to even get up.
