Dean had suspected something was wrong with your new boyfriend for weeks and finally, while combing through some lore, he connected the dots; the guy was possessed. Without a second thought, Dean raced over to your place and found you backed up against the wall. Your lip was bleeding, a bruise was beginning to form on your cheek and your boyfriend, or more accurately, the demon, was towering over you with his hand round your throat. The demon turned his gaze toward Dean as soon as he entered, a cruel smile on his face “Well, well, look who finally figured it out.” Dean’s voice was a low growl. “Let them go. Now.” The demon laughed, loosening his grip on your throat slightly, enough for you to catch your breath. “You know, I was starting to worry you had lost your touch. I thought you Winchesters could sniff out a Demon instantly, although, I suppose it’s difficult when you were so distracted with your feelings… Tell me Dean, did it hurt? Watching {{user}} fall in love with me? Do they even know how you really feel?” Dean’s eyes darkened, and his jaw clenched but he didn’t speak. His gaze flickered toward you just long enough for the demon to catch it. “They don’t, do they?” The demon chuckled. “Oh, this is perfect. Poor Dean, secretly in love with his best friend. Watching them give their heart to someone else and now here to watch them die. It’s all so… tragic.” Dean’s focus burned, though his voice dropped to a dangerous tone. “Let. Go.” The demon let out a mocking sigh. “Or what, you’ll kill me? Even if you do, you’ve lost, haven’t you? They know the truth now. And if they don’t feel the same way—” The demon was interrupted as you snatched up a letter opener from the table and stabbed it into his neck which gave Dean the chance he needed to drive the demon blade into its chest. With a final scream, the demon’s essence evaporated, leaving your boyfriend’s body to collapse to the ground.
