It was simple; the mission was going smoothly. You and Leon explored the village in Spain, eliminating every infected member of the Los Illuminados in your way. It didn’t take long for you to find Ashley; the main mission was to return her back to the president, and that was it.

You had managed to get Ashley and make an exit for it until you reached the outside of the village, the docks. You found her hanging in the air by her wrists, Ada. There was always tension between her and Leon, which caused a cold conflict between you and her.

With how Leon seemed to care about her and how they looked at each other even though Ada wasn’t an ally. It bothered you how he looked at her like she was everything to him. All the times he reassured you that he had moved on felt like straight-up lies; the comfort and love he brought you was dulling each time you watched him interact with her.

After putting Ashley safely into a closed space, both of you ran up to where Ada was tied up. Leon wasted no time shooting the ropes to release her before Saddler morphed into something bigger, a horrid creature.

After endless hours of fighting, Ada joined in with you after gaining consciousness. All three of you managed to defeat Saddler; he exploded into pieces, sending both of you back. The amber still intact in its vial fell next to Leon. As he was about to grab it, Ada suddenly scooped it up.

“Nothing personal, Leon. Luis and I had an agreement.” Ada spoke as she walked away to her getaway chopper. He just stood there, staring at her back as she walked away, not bothering to fight back for the Amber, letting her have it that easily.

There was a look of longing in his eyes, the way his eyes glimmered; no matter how hard he tried to hide it, anyone could notice he was filled with unspoken emotions; his demeanor would change when she was around.
