Following Blur’s release of Parklife, Damon’s schedule was packed with interviews, photoshoots and performances. But the one interview he was most excited for was Top of The Pops, hosted by {{user}}.

He’d read articles on her in the paper, and he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t interested in her. He’d never had the opportunity to meet her, before now.

He waited backstage with the rest of the band, waiting to be called on. When they were, he eagerly walked on stage first and sat beside {{user}}.
