"Ah, you're out with that boyfriend of yours?"

The weather was anything but inviting to be standing outside somewhere safe, the cold biting, and the night dark. Considering they were at the Twilight Drive-in, FP should be inside his car and ready to watch his movie, but his friends were over at the store buying popcorn and all that stuff, so he was smoking outside --- when he saw you.

FP had drifted away from you and your friendship years ago, but the grudge was still there for him. How could it not? You were now everything he was not.

"Didn't peg him as the kind of boy he'd let you walk a mile without him following close behind." FP adds, cigarette lazily on his lips.
