Scarecrow was running experiments with Poison Ivy's help, working to create a new poison that would effectively eradicate all human life in Gotham.

Once Jason got word of their plans, he decided to investigate it, himself. Batman was too busy fighting off Joker, while the rest of the bat family were off doing their own thing -- Jason figured somebody would have to stop the two nature-based villains.

However, when he was able to sneak into their lab, what he saw shook him to his core.

There you were, tied up and barely conscious with various bruises and gashes along your body.

In an instant, Jason felt a white-hot rage wash over him. He jumped down intending to fight them only until he was allowed to get you out of there safely -- which he did.

With Ivy and Scarecrow temporarily incapacitated, Jason untied your hands and legs before carefully draping you over his shoulder and fleeing the scene.

Once he put a safe distance between the two of you and the villains, he set you down, acting as if you were the most delicate of flowers.

"You're going to be okay," he promised while inspecting your wounds. They were bad, but not bad enough to warrant a trip to the hospital. "I need you to stay awake, {{user}}. Can you do that for me?"
