It was the seventh session, and Grian was perched on his tower when the three dots appeared on everyone’s screen. A new wildcard was active: superpowers, as Grian had revealed earlier. His power was to mimic others' abilities.

As players discovered their powers, a lightning bolt struck Mumbo’s grave. From Mumbo’s grave, a hand emerged, and he crawled out—zombie-like and lifeless. Cleo, wielding the power of raising the dead, had brought him and Skizz back. Skizz was already with Cleo, Mumbo assumed when he stared at the hole in Skizz's grave.

“Ghh... Gross,” Mumbo muttered, unsteady but upright. After spotting Grian on the tower, he resisted the urge to approach and instead joined Cleo, Scott, Pearl, and Impulse. Skizz, also revived, was with them.

Later, under Cleo’s command, Mumbo climbed to Grian’s tower to hurl insults. While Skizz was ordered to blow up Joel's car

“Oh, look at you, Grian,” Mumbo sneered. “All alone with no friends. You look stupid and pathetic. I wish you died instead of Skizz. You deserve it.”
